Caucasus Explorer is a team of travelers, scholars, and journalists.
At different times we came to the Caucasus yearning for travel, adventure, and knowledge. We fell in love with the region, met one another and decided to share our "feel of the Caucasus" with our guests.

Some of us are fond of pristine nature of the mountains, others are into languages and crafts of local peoples, and some simply enjoy basking in the southern sun or relish rich feasts.
In 11 years of travels throughout the North and South Caucasus we’ve been to dozens of spectacular locations, met hundreds of great people, and did networking. We grew to love the region and have gained a feel for it. That encourages us to look for ways of sharing it with others.

We organize trips in the Caucasus
Drawing on our travel experience, we invent signature tours of the Caucasus with offbeat itineraries. On each tour we strike a balance between physical challenge and rest, connecting with nature and immersing in culture.
If you have specific wishes, we’re eager to organize a tailor-made trip for one person, a family, or a group.

We help to develop tourism
Years of work have taught us a lot about the Caucasus and instilled responsibility for this land. We help local people make a living out of the riches surrounding them. Often they are not perceptive to the rarity and beauty of their native landscapes.
We help local people organize new itineraries and outings, live up to the new standards, and expand the array of options available to every guest. We are willing to take part in regional projects that have to do with tourism.

We’re on the move
The Caucasus always leaves room for exploration, so we pack up and set off on new journeys regularly – by car, on foot, or on horseback, overcoming passes and wading across rivers, staying in boutique hotels, country houses, or tents.
That way we gain new perspective and think up new adventures for you to join.

Meetings in Moscow
Sometimes we organize low-key meetings in Moscow with savory Caucasian food and wines. We get to know one another, talk about future trips, and meet guests from the Caucasus – musicians, artists, historians, sommelier. Follow our updates and join our Caucasian meetings in Moscow.
