We invite you to the wilderness of the Western Caucasus mountains, the Lago-Naki plateau and the environs of Mezmay. Alpine meadows, caves, waterfalls and canyons overgrown by ancient box-trees will make your every single day here extraordinary. The ancient inhabitants of these lands, the Abadzekhi (an Adyg tribe) worshipped these forests and mountains as they saw sophistication beneath superficial beauty. Presently, UNESCO recognized the Lago-Naki plateau and adjacent lands as World Heritage.
On this tour you will see not just scenic mountains but partake of the cultural legacy of the Adygs and Cossacks. After daily activities in the mountains we’ll introduce you to the traditional Russian SPA services in the “black” bath. You will be able to socialize with local craftsmen and skilful Cossack singers, and at the end of the journey we’ll meet the guardians of Adyg traditions.

Mezmay is a village of loggers and Yogi who have lately “overrun” this locale. The village is situated at the boundary of Krasnodar province and Adygea, in a depression between overgrown rocky ranges, and it has always been hard to get to.
This place energizes the visitor with incredibly beautiful nature, box-tree groves, cliffs and deep canyons.

This divinely picturesque plateau was revered by the indigenous population of this land, the Abadzekhs. These mountains have been inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage List and are part of the Caucasus Biosphere Reserve. This place is the habitat of the last wild population of the European bison.
